Splash pad finally moving forward

Moorcroft has received grant funds in the amount of $484,000 from the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) for the construction of the long-anticipated splash pad and the council is now looking at the next step.
The grant is a 50/50 deal so, when the council approved applying for funding, they also approved using a portion of the Specific Purpose Tax endowment for the town’s percentage.
