Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has a long and proud history of serving our community and the surrounding region. We started as a tent hospital in 1867, to care for workers injured while building the transcontinental railroad. Shortly after, the hospital was purchased by Cheyenne’s founding fathers. Over the next 150 years, our hospital would continue to grow in expertise and size as we strived to meet the many and diverse medical needs of our region.
