Building Communities through Grant Writing: A comprehensive online training series

The Building Communities through Grant Writing training series is being offered to all Wyoming nonprofit organizations and governmental entities. The workshop series is designed to help beginning and intermediate grant writers seeking to gain skills to research and draft winning program proposals for various funders. Each session walks participants through one of the basic building blocks or strategies for successful grant writing.
The cost for the series includes materials and access to the GrantSelect database. Early registration is encouraged–the series will be limited to 60 participants.
Participants will:
- Learn what resources are needed to complete a grant application
- Learn how to read a funding notice
- Learn how to find grants
- Learn how to analyze a grant application
- Gain tools, templates and tips to help with every-day work and build a grant resource library
- Have opportunities for one-on-one support, peer review and discussion with other grant writers
- Earn a certificate of completion
