Site Found for Wyoming Clean Coal Test Plant

A company working on a process intended to produce cleaner-burning coal has found a location for its new test plant in northeast Wyoming.

The former Fort Union mine in Campbell County will be the site of the Clean Coal Technologies plant. The site is northeast of Gillette.

Company spokesman Sean Mahoney tells the Gillette News Record that the University of Wyoming is working with the company to get the test plant up and running as soon as possible.
